MY. G. W. Eves to Crown Agents.

Rent 9 MR 10!

1, Pembroke Road,

Kensington, W.

4. 3. 10.

Gentlemen,

With reference to my interview this morning

I have the honour to state that I cannot find my copy

of my agreement.

A copy should be in the Colonial Office as

my agreement was sent to Hong Kong from London about

March 1906. It was sent to the Government of Hong

Kong and not to the Railway.

My claim is for pay on the voyage and the

cost of a first class intermediate passage from Hong

Kong to London.

My salary was £1200 per year and I left Hong Kong at daylight on 5th. January arriving on 17th.

February. The ship I sailed in was the Tanqu Maru a

First Class Japanese mail on which the passage is the

same cost as on the P. & 0. Intermediate since January

1900.

I hope you will be able to let me have my

salary and passage money without the production of my

copy of my agreement which I regret not having with me.

I have,

(Sąd.)

300..

Graves W. Eyes.
